Roger Federer discusses this bizarre Novak Djokovic habit
ROGER FEDERER says he has never copied Novak Djokovic’s bizarre Wimbledon habit.
Djokovic put a nightmare 12 months behind him as he won his fourth title at the All England Club earlier this month.
After beating Rafael Nadal in the semi-finals, Djokovic cruised to his 13th Grand Slam title by brushing aside Kevin Anderson in the final.
And just like all his other triumphs in the English capital, the Serbian knelt on his knees to eat a handful - or two - of grass after securing his remarkable win.
It is a bizarre tradition which has stuck with the former world No 1 ever since he was a little child.
But Federer, who has won eight Wimbledon titles, says it has never crossed his mind to eat the green beneath his feet.

“Literally not,” Federer told Swiss newspaper Coopzeitung.
“I love the smell. It reminds me of my football time as a junior.
“In the figurative sense, however, I recently ate grass in the first round of the grasshopper tournament in Stuttgart.”
Meanwhile, Djokovic hopes to feast on more grass over the coming years.
